Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused an exception in web services and an error email to be sent when visit information was missing in a patient update message (A08). Visit information is now optional.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an exception in web services and an error email to be sent when visit diagnosis or patient location information was missing in a merge patient record message (A18). This is no longer required.
  • Fixed a bug where a message level error was received when an HL7 message attempted to update an inactive patient location for a visit. This was the result of a patient visit being previously discharged and the message containing the exact same message date and time.
  • Fixed a bug where document updates resulting from an HL7 event such as a patient merge or visit merge were incorrectly creating a chg.xml notification instead of an upd.xml notification.

Known Issues

  • Installer
    • Review Your Settings screen does not always automatically display the settings.
  • Data Administrator
    • When editing a document type and receive an error message for a missing or invalid value, the Created By and Updated By fields do not display the user who performed the action, the date is displayed as 1/1/0001 and the time is reset to 12:00:00 AM.
  • Data Service
    • A value of 0 must be entered for Retention when importing a Document Type list.
    • A fatal error message is received for daily maintenance when maintenance is attempting to complete and perform a delete at the same time. The message states that the data service has stopped running, but it does not. No action is required.
    • The date time format expected in the message time (MSH7) does not support decimal notation for precision beyond seconds.

Release Notes

  • Manual processes have been added which may impact patient, visit or order records. As a result, integrators should be aware that chg.xml notifications may be generated for these objects.
